INFLUENCE
The Word of Life Church has always been protected by God as He promised. During the 20 years of its formation and development, there were times when the Church was under fierce persecution as well as spiritual pressures, but the mighty arm of God was still with the Church. God is faithful, today the Church has many friends in “high places”, has good relationships with the government, and is increasing its influence in the community and society.
I will give you favor, even favor from those you did not expect. Those who were against you will change their attitude, they will turn around and become your friends. I will give you friends in high places, I will give you favor. I will strengthen you, I will give you my authority and you will rule in the spiritual world. You will destroy all darkness and establish my kingdom. You will have great influence in the spiritual kingdom, in your city and in your nation.

The Word of Life Church Vietnam has received many certificates of merit and recognition from the Hanoi Fatherland Front Committee as well as the Hanoi People’s Committee for its contributions to society.
Graces from God
In 2007, there was a great division within the Church, but in that same year, God allowed the Church to step out into the public for the first time with a Christmas event at the Central Circus with about 1,000 people attending and more than 200 people coming forward to receive the Lord. In 2008, the Word of Life Church held Christmas at the National Convention Center, and the Word of Life Church is also the only religious organization that has ever organized an event there.
In 2009, the Word of Life Church and the HCF Protestant community organized a historic Christmas event with the theme "Exalting Jesus". Although the program encountered many obstacles, it was still held in the end, causing a great resonance in the community. The almighty arm of God still intervened and led the Church in the most difficult times to be able to do things that seemed impossible.
Friends in high places
Just as the prophecy for the Church "Those who have opposed you will change their attitude, they will turn back and be your friends. I will give you friends in high places" the Word of Life Church has increasingly gained influence in the community as well as in society. With the spirit of “Respect God - Love People” and through active social activities, God has given the Word of Life Church grace in the eyes of government. On Christmas and New Year holidays, departments such as the Hanoi Fatherland Front Committee, the Department of Internal Security, the Department of Protestantism, the Government Committee for Religious Affairs, etc. visited our office and sent greetings to the Church. The Word of Life Church and the Hanoi Protestant Community also show respect for the Government according to God’s word by visiting and congratulating government agencies on their holidays. Senior pastor Pham Tuan Nhuong is often invited as a guest as a representative of Protestantism in Hanoi City’s seminar programs related to religion.
