SENIOR MINISTRY
‘Planted in the Lord’s house, they grow in the courts of our God. They bear fruit even when they are old; they are filled with vitality and have many leaves.‘ Psalm 92:13-14
The seniors in the Word of Life Church are examples of prayer, giving, and caring for others. The Senior Ministry was established to demonstrate the church's concern for the elderly, and to support and encourage them to live lives that glorify God during their remaining days on earth.
The Word of Life Church has always cared for the elderly, and the Senior Ministry was established to meet their spiritual needs, and also to thank the older generation for their contributions in the church.
May God help the hearts of the young in the Church to turn toward the elderly, and the hearts of the elderly to care for the young.
Every month, the elderly have their own group meetings where they can worship God, engage in spiritual activities, meet others, listen to the Word of God, and have fun and useful activities. Pastor Hoang Chu, who is over 70 years old, is the direct leader of this ministry. In the near future, the Word of Life Church will build a Christian Nursing Center to care for the elderly living alone in the Church.
