MEDIA MINISTRY
The Media Ministry began with the birth of the Church. Starting with a person in charge of sound and projection with very old equipment, today the Word of Life Church has a strong and influential media channel, a media department with full-time employees, invested equipment and a large team of collaborators. The church owns many Fanpages as well as Youtube channels with thousands of likes and high access.
Early period
Mr. Tran Van Phap (now a pastor) was one of the first people to carry out the "media" work of the Church in the early period. At that time, the job was simply to run slides and control sound volume as well as take photos. With just a digital camera, an old computer, and enthusiasm and studying, the first films of the Church were made like that.
Starting to develop
In 2014, the official website, Fanpage and Youtube channel of the Church were made. 2016 marked an important milestone when the Word of Life central Church meetings in Hanoi moved to the Detech building at 8 Ton That Thuyet, and since then all meetings have been livestreamed on the Fanpage as well as the Youtube channel.
Since 2017, the media work has developed strongly. The church began to invest in media equipment such as cameras, camcorders, computers. Also during this time, under the leadership of Mr. Tran Duc Thien (now Pastor), the media began to have additional sections such as Evening Coffee, Missionary Magazine, Provincial News, Short Films, clips of foreign sermons dubbed... In 2017, during the Love Hanoi Festival with Franklin Graham, the Word of Life Church was honored to take on the main part of the media work in this event. This was also a milestone when the Church's media team was capable of serving major events.
Expanding the ministry
Since 2018, the Media Ministry has grown strongly in both depth and width. The Church focuses on investing in equipment as well as specialized personnel for this work. The sermons videos are increasingly polished with higher sound and image quality, the banner images for events on Facebook are made more beautiful, the video clips are invested more elaborately. Each ministry in the Church comes with a separate communication channel such as Workplace Ministry, Youth Ministry, Jewish Ministry, Love Your Neighbor Ministry...
In addition, the Word of Life Church has also built many communication channels to serve the Christian community such as the Daily Word of God Group, Youtube Audiobook Channel, Victory Bible Reading Schedule, Daily Word of God, sermons for ethnic groups like Dao, Thai, H'mong... To meet the development of the Church, the Media Department is increasingly expanding, recruiting more collaborators who are young people with a heart to serve God.
