PRAYER MINISTRY
‘‘Do not be anxious about anything. Instead, in every situation, through prayer and petition with thanksgiving, tell your requests to God’.‘ Philippians 4:6. Everything began with a vision and prayer. Since its establishment, the Vietnamese Word of Life Church has established a Women's Prayer Group, and gradually the Women's Prayer has become a prayer meeting of the Church. To this day, the Vietnamese Word of Life Church has a national prayer meeting on Tuesdays, and a prayer watchtower from Monday to Friday.
Women's Prayer Group Established
Since 2003, the women of the Word of Life have gathered to pray and study the Bible. When they realized that prayer is the strength of women, in 2006 the women's group officially held a women's prayer meeting at Linh Dam. From 2006 to 2008, the women prayed together every Tuesday afternoon. From 2008 to 2012, the Women's group prayed all day on Tuesdays at La Khe (Pastor Phuong's house). From 2012 to 2015, the Church moved to Van Khe and Mo Lao.
Praying in all circumstances
From 2016, the Women's Tuesday prayer was converted into a prayer meeting of the whole Church. In 2018, the Church began to have a prayer tower from 9:00 am to 4:30 pm at Bao Son from Monday to Friday, with the majority of women attending. During the years 2019 - 2023, when the COVID epidemic occurred, it was impossible to pray on-site, so the Church switched to online prayer. Everyone remained faithful to worship God together and pray with the Church while sitting at home.
Prayer Watchtower
From 2023 to present, the Church's Prayer Watchtower has been held regularly from Monday to Friday in both live and online formats for all believers nationwide to participate. Especially every Tuesday morning, there is always a message from Senior Pastor Pham Tuan Nhuong sent to all church members. Pastors and evangelists nationwide also have a prayer meeting together every Saturday morning. Thanks for praying together, the Word of Life Church has always maintained unity in God.
